I’ve made my posts private now. Also, I’ve updated HMWP in your site to the latest version 4.54 and it seems like when Minify CSS is enabled in WP Fastest Cache plugin, then there is issue (only in logged out state). Currently I have disabled Minify CSS option in WP Fastest Cache.

    1. from Plugins >> Add New (Deleted older version and added new version). You can also auto update from here – Dashboard > Update > Check to see new version!

    2. you can use W3 Total Cache plugin. But if you enable Minify option, then you have to follow this – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/17774

    3. for auto update settings remain intact.
    For manual update:
    – first goto HMWP > Start tab and do “Export current settings” and save it somewhere.
    – download latest HMWP version, and delete hide_my_wp plugin folder from /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
    – using FTP/cpanel upload latest hide_my_wp plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
    – goto website backend and activate HMWP plugin.
    – goto HMWP > Start tab and import settings (from previously saved settings)

    1) HMWP version like 4.511 is not valid number for plugin updater. So for thos version manual update is required.

    2) builtwith.com seems to be detecting some plugins but not wordpress. I’ve set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” in HMWP permalinks & urls tab. The plugins name should not be detected now, except facebook likebox (we need to find solution to this, most probably in upcoming versions of HMWP)

Not sure what caused 500 error! You need not do anything to get back htaccess. It’s auto added by wordpress and is already there.

Are you sure it’s because of HMWP? I deactivated HMWP plugin but still the error is there. Can you please check your server error log for the cause of the error?
