    I removed all

    – hide_my_wp
    – hide_my_wp_undo
    – hmwp_ids_installed
    – hmw_all_plugins
    – external_updates-hide_my_wp
    – hmwp_spam_counter
    – hmwp_temp_admin_path

However it still loads images from ‘/file’ and it still looks like it is hard coded.
Let me know what I can remove more

As I said several times Hide My WP DOES NOT edit any file or folder.

Regarding /file, it was simply because you created that page using CornerStone when HMWP was active. You could just re-upload those images or use /file for new upload path.

HMPW does nothing with categories, nor with with page titles. These are common features of SEO plugins and premium themes. You have too many plugins do not think all of problems are caused by HMWP.

Hassan, Take a look at this first. Read all carefully.

You don’t seem to understand what is going on. It also looks like you and Suman Maharjan did not have a good communication for this issue.

You keep saying the same thing over and over which is
“Hide My WP DOES NOT edit any file or folder.”

However the plugin does change WP paths but not directories. OKAY???
Can’t you even differentiate between ‘paths’ and ‘physical directories’?

It also does add a few lines of code in core files. OK?

The problem is that it already changed paths but it does not return them to original WP settings after I click on “Reset settings to WP”.

Now, you understand the issue here?
I did not created page ‘/file’ with CornerStone. OKAY??? I disabled all plugins but the paths that HMWP changed never return it back to the original WP settings OKAY?
This is the reason why I am forced to use HMWP. This is the only way I can access files from changed paths.

So let me know what garbage that HMWP created I need to remove more other than these.

    – hide_my_wp
    – hide_my_wp_undo
    – hmwp_ids_installed
    – hmw_all_plugins
    – external_updates-hide_my_wp
    – hmwp_spam_counter
    – hmwp_temp_admin_path

I will show you the issue while sharing my screen.

Aispile, sorry but they deleted your comment from my thread but I have the email copy of your reply. I was lucky to have my hosting tech support help me out which they didn’t need to, but they could see exactly what the errors were in the backend.

Hope you manage to get this sorted out.

privategirlssg, It is good to hear that you solved the problem. What a nice tech support you’ve got.
HMWP guys did not delete my reply but they seemed to mark it as a private message. I think this is what they do whenever someone complains about something.
They are good at hiding problems and blaming something else to avoid problems. I believe it is a typical third world country attitude.

I am not sure if I need to keep dealing with these guys or find a developer who can fix these issue.

You can write any negative comment in Envato reviews. You already did that at its best. So here is for support queries. If you want to solve the problem please be polite and talk relevant.

I tested it again, you can test it, too. Create a post with an image while HMWP is active, then reset or disable HMWP and check out the post. If there is any other thing test it this way.

“It also does add a few lines of code in core files. OK?”
You are going to teach me how my plugin work. OK, where are those lines? Please note you didn’t discovered this plugin, you are not the only one who use that. You are only one of those 20,000 people who used this plugin since 2013. The interesting point is that all of your problems are new!

Anyway, if you cannot show those added lines to core or talk relevantly I don’t see any benefit to continue this discussion.

I was polite. Don’t try to make me a bad person as if I have been like that ever since. The answers I got from your support were not relevant at all. Unlike support from other companies, your support is just terrible.

I am telling you to add me on Skype. Why are you not adding me in Skype?
I can show you my screen and problems. Also, don’t try to change the topic. Why don’t you just face the problem and solve it?
If you solve my problem that caused by your plugin, I will rate 5 stars in Evanto and just be gone forever. I will have no reason to write here anything.

Don’t your plugin add a line of code in wp-config.php??

I don’t see any benefit to continue this discussion.
What benefit you want from me? I am your customer I am asking for a support. I paid for the plugin as well as the support. You keep that attitude in your country. But never deal with foreigners with that attitude. It is going to piss off a lot of customers. I’ve read some comments about your attitude in Evanto. When a customer is mad, instead of pissing them off, try to listen to your customers sincerely!

The benefit is solving a problem, finding a bug or so on. It’s not a benefit if I say it doesn’t change and you say it certainly does.

No, it doesn’t change wp-config. If you want to change wp-admin then you should do it yourself.

A mad customer usually has nothing meaningful to say. You first need to claim him down, and let him understand you are not behind all of his problems. If he isn’t going to understand, you don’t have much to do.

    You are added to Skype.
