    Hi,

I purchased today the hide-wp plugin and I follow all the guide to install it, after I changed the “wp-admin” name and I updated the config.php in my hosting, I clicked on the (I did it! Login to the new dashboard) and my site didn’t go to the “wp-admin” I got 404 page. I tried to log in to the old address “wp-admin” or the new page name, and none of them work, my site crashed, so I deactivate the plugin from my cPanel to get access to my wp-admin. I can’t use the plugin. please help me!

    Thanks.

Hi, this usually happens if you miss some step while renaming wp-admin path name. Can you please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details and FTP details as private reply so that we can setup the plugin in your site? Also, let us know the new name you want for wp-admin? Thanks!

I can’t access the administrator of my WordPress. my site admin is not working.

I didn’t purchase this plugin to start spending a lot of time of a “freelance” working.
I’m not a developer and don’t know how to deal with those changes / create an ftp account.

Please fix it or refund me.

    Thanks.

The issue was all because you didn’t properly rename wp-admin path name. Also, it seems like you didn’t follow the steps mentioned above (it will just remove settings related to HMWP). And for us to rename wp-admin path for you, we’ll need access to your site and wp-config. So this is kind of bottle neck, neither you could configure the plugin correctly nor we could have access to configure it for you. In that case, unfortunately, we’ll have to ask you to apply for the refund. Please apply for it via your Envato panel. Thanks for your understanding!
