    Hi Suman,

I’ve noticed that since the release of v 6.x, Wappalyzer still detects quite a lot of information about the site, mainly the fact that it’s WP, on some pages (but not all).

This previously wasn’t the case with 5.x versions of the plugin. Now, I don’t know if this is a wappalyzer improvement causing this or something HMWP related however I’d like to request your feedback on the topic to help bolster hiding capabilities.

    Many thanks in advance.

Hi, can you please generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it here as private reply? Thanks!

Yes, renaming wp-admin path name is working fine. WHile renaming wp-admin path name, you should follow the steps very carefully. And make sure that the replacement word you select for wp-admin is not already being used as post/page slug or any other slug.

HMWP line should be added before require_once(…) in wp-config.php

It seems like API Base and API Query fields are not renamed? Please rename them to something like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/0i46ggGc

    Hey Suman,

I tried that previously and it caused issues with certain functions of the site so I had to revert.

I can say that prior to version 6 of the plugin, this all worked fine, I had the exact same configuration as I do now and wappalyzer was not detecting WP.
