Hello,
The problem is that if I change the file permissions to 444, other plugins will not be able to make changes to the .htaccess file right?
Is it possible to do it using only HideMyWP’s replace tools?
Best regards.
Hello,
At the end, I finally resolved it. I think without noticing I have increased my website troubleshooting skills lol.
After trying using the Light Privacy plugin option (Most compatible), the problem disappeared. However, of course I could not use that option in my production website, therefore, I had to see the differences between the compatibility modes in order to find what option was exactly causing the problem.
I discover that the following option was causing the problem under Source Code setting on the HideMyWP plugin:
Remove version number (?ver=) from styles and scripts URLs.
I found a Varnish config stating if the (?ver=) was present, there could be problems with Varnish.
However, that option from your plugin should, apparently, indeed be removing the (?ver=), therefore, there should not be any problems in theory even if the option is present.
At the end, it was not a Varnish issue after all. Issue resolved.
Best regards,
GabrielHello,
Excellent! That pretty much solved my problem. I’m now able to use jetpack plugin without being detected by wpthemedetector.com
I also followed your recommendation about hiding comments added by other plugins using the below:
Appereantly, it’s also possible to remove that virtual composer meta tag completely:

Thanks so much, I’m completely satisfied with the support provided.

Juan G DelgadoHello,
Im sorry, I had jetpack’s plugin deactivated.
You can test now.
Right now jetpack is enabled with no features activated and is still being detected by the previous mentioned theme detector website. Other themedetector websites are appereantly not able to detect wordpress as explained previously.
Best regards,
Juan G DelgadoHello,
I was performing some changes and turned off the server.
It’s back online now.
By the way, can you confirm if my previous post is a private post? I don’t see it as private.
Best regards,

I thought the url was the problem but I already did the url replacement using HideMyWP’s Replacement Tools going from:
https://i0.wp.com/website/wp-content to https://i0.wp.com/website/storage/However, jetpack is still being recognized by the following theme detector:
Other theme detectors websites are not able to detect wordpress in my website. However, the theme detector website provided above seems to be better than the other ones and more pupolar, therefore, I need to hide wordpress from this website as well.
Even if I disable all jetpack’s modules (Not even using a single one), the above mentioned theme detector website is still able to detect wordpress.
As soon as jetpack plugin is deactivated, the above mentioned theme detector website is no longer able to detect wordpress in my website.
Best regards,

I just sent it.
In the meantime, while this problem is investigated; could you please let me know how can I exclude Woocommerce or my Venedor plugin as a momentarily workaround?.
I’m trying with the below combinations on the “exclude files” section, however, the column problem is still present:
Exclude Files
index.php, wp-comments-post.php, wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php, xmlrpc.php, wp-cron.php, wp-content/plugins/woocommerce, wp-content/themes, woocommerce, wp-content/themes/venedor, wp-content/themes/venedor-child*Except these PHP files (or folders). Separate with ,
Exclude Theme Add theme files to above list. Use this if you experience incompatibility with your theme.
*Exclude Plugins Add plugins files to above list. Use this if you experience incompatibility with plugins.Best regards,
