FACEBOOK Sharing, image display bug

Hello team WPWave,

I have an issue with facebook sharing since using hyde my wp. The image of the post doesn’t load on FB when trying top share an article.

This is what i get when i try to debug the url on FB debug program :

Invalid image content type :
The URL og :image provided, https://www.monacohebdo.mc/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/nanosatellite-monaco-orbital-solutions.jpg, could not be treated as an image because it contains an invalid content type.

Missing properties : The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id

Does it rings any bell ?
is there a fix ?

Hi, thanks for reaching out to us. I checked your site but it seems like HMWP is currently disabled there.
Can you please let us know your site’s backend login details so that we can configure the plugin there.

Hello,

I just enabled the recommended scheme setting via wizard. i guess its enabled now, but it’s weird, because the dashboard was showing blocked attacks and ips…

but also first version installed via envato manager plugin, it seems there a bug of version download, it was version 5.3.3 served from there…

then I re downloaded again via downloads page and installed the 6.1 version finally. just to let you know.

about the login details, it’s bit delicate, this is a live journalistic site, Could you just indicate the right settings to check in first place if you don’t mind, so we give it a try like this.. ?

Hi, we’ll check the version mismatch you mentioned above. Thanks for letting us know.
I checked facebook share issue and it seems to be resolved now. Also, please set ‘rename plugins’ option to ‘all plugins’ in HMWP Permalinks tab.
And rename text/comments added by other plugins like – https://www.screencast.com/t/MRShbCGF
