I’m wondering how this is possible. I have 20 WP sites on the same server all using HMWP no problem with htcaccess.

Hi Suman,
When I remove password protection for the folder, pages can be accessed. When I add password protection back for that folder, error returns 404 not found.
When I deactivate Hide My WP, the error remains.
Looks like you are correct. Sorry for the inquiry. It was the only plugin I’ve added since May 2014, and the only change I made to the site since the error started.
Must be something else. Thanks for your help.
