Hey – This is good to know.
I’m interested, is it a sub-directory or sub-domain installation?
Thanks!
It would be nice to pin this topic to the top of the forum so other users could give their experience.
Hi, please try entering the new login name without “/”. For example: “login”
No luck, i tried a lot of different combinations and it always 404. The new login query works fine though.
Any other suggestions? Thanks.
I also notices on multisite that it isn’t recognizing all User Roles. For example, If I install a plugin on a subsite that has a user role, it doesn’t show in the HMWP admin… which can only be accessed on the main site.

Apache
SubdirectoryI’m not sure what the issue was but a fresh install fixed it.
Continued from previous comment…
2 – I’m also getting this error which is breaking a plugin on the frontend.
Do you have any suggestions for me to try? My client doesn’t want people having access to their admin section. I apologize.
ok. All previous issues are resolved.
I have a new issue:
In the admin… everything looks fine except for my themes admin panel.
The css is broke.
It breaks when I change the “New wp-admin Path*” to anything other than “wp-admin”.
I should note, though its not a big deal, the themes screenshot is also broken.
How would you suggest fixing this issue?
Thanks
There was a conflict. I was able to get it to write after deactivating some plugins… strange thing is that i can only use the word “Panel” in the field, otherwise it switches back to “wp-admin”.
Thank you for the thorough explanation.
I still need help here though:
1 – When I save the settings… every-time the “New wp-admin Path*” defaults back to wp-admin. I cant change the value.
What file is it writing to?
Thanks

I added it manually to the htaccess it seems to be working now.
1. When I try to change the:
Change Login URL
New wp-admin Path*nothing happens. No dialogue informing me on how to make the changes.
What is the steps to change it manually?
2. Can these be changed?

And is there not a search function on your support forum?
HMWP isn’t rewriting the .htaccess file.
and I’ve given the system permission and tried different OCATALs.
1 – OWNER: www-data
2 – GROUP: www-data
3 – OCATAL: 644, 755, 777
Any reason you didn’t answer all my questions?
What are the suggested?
1 – OWNER:
e.g. root2 – GROUP:
e.g. www-data -
