    Hi, please follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’
    scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

If it’s still the issue, then please “Generate Debug report” from start tab of HMWP and send it to us.

All default WP paths are now hidden from page source and the website is no more detected as wordpress site (whatwpthemeisthat, wpthemedetector.com)

Hi, we checked and it seems like though the WP default paths like /wp-content/uploads/ are not visible in website page source, these can be seen while we inspect element using browser’s debug tool. Hence, the tools like whatwpthemeisthat.com, wpthemedetector.com can’t detect WP in the site, but advanced users can know the path. We’ve already noted down this issue and will be addressing this in the upcoming versions of the plugin.

It seems like issue with the theme. Any invalid URLs redirect to home page instead of 404 error page. Does the theme has 404.php file?

Hi, please try adding the following lines in “Replace in HTML” option box in General settings tab:

    WordPress Social Login=WSL
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-social-login/=
Powered by Visual Composer – drag and drop page builder for WordPress=

If it’s still the issue, then please let us know your website backend details (as private message) so that we can have a look at the issue.

It seems like you have deleted HMWP plugin all together. Please upload HMWP plugin (leave deactivated), and let us know so that we can set it up for you.
If just uploading the plugin gives issue, then please upload and rename the hmwp plugin, and also provide us with FTP details.

Hi, the htaccess content looks okay. Can you please generate debug report from start tab and send it to us? Also, did you use the option to rename wp-admin path?

    Hi, please follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’
    scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

If it’s Nginx server, then follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility’
    scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’

    – In Start tab you should see Nginx Configuration button. If you don’t see this button, add &nginx_config=1 to HMWP settings page URL to see Nginx rewrite rules. For example:
    http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=hide_my_wp&nginx_config=1

    – Now add those lines (rewrite rules) to your Nginx configuration file. It’s usually located in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf or /etc/nginx/conf/nginx.conf or /etc/nginx/sites-available/domainname.com

    – restart nginx server

If it’s still the issue, then please let us know your website details (as private message) so that we can have a look at the issue.

Hi, the issue was because of Better WordPress Minify Plugin. I’ve currently disabled this plugin. To re-activate it, please follow this step:

    – in Better WordPress Minify settings page, enable “Enable friendly Minify urls” in Advanced options tab and change “Friendly Minify url path”. Example: change to /cache/m/
Create the directories manually in your server and make them writeable.

As it’s not live, we are not being able to check the page source for http://dev.domaine.com. Can you please send us the home page page source as an attachment? Make sure that both Visual composer and HMWP plugins are active and settings applied.
