Hi, HMWP is working fine in your site now. But there was some issue in htaccess file, so I uploaded default WP htaccess file (https://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess) and then applied “medium privacy more compatibility” scheme in HMWP settings. The previous htaccess file before I made any changes is .htaccess_BKP
Check you ithemes security settings once.

Your site’s htaccess file doesn’t seem to be writeable. Please give write permission (755) to the htaccess file via FTP or cpanel, and then apply “Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility” scheme in HMWP settings.
If you are still having issue then please let us know the FTP details.
I just tried voting, and it works! Please check the attached screenshot.

Hi, did you get this error while installing HMWP plugin? At what point did you get this error?
Make sure that you follow these steps:
– upload “hide_my_wp” plugin to /wp-content/plugins/ folder
– activate HMWP plugin
– goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility’ scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.
Hi, you cannot achieve this with HMWP plugin.
Hi, with HMWP plugin you can mask/rename the default wordpress image path “http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/image1.jpg” to something like “http://www.yourdomain.com/file/2015/03/image1.jpg”
Please follow these steps:
– goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility’
scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.
Hi all, the backend speed issue should have been resolved now. Can you please check?

Hi, it’s the API call (called within class.helper.php) that’s consuming time, and this is because we are currently facing some issue at server level. This issue shall get resolved as soon as the server issues are resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.
But do not block/delete class.helper.php file as it has several helper functions that’s being used by HMWP plugin, and doing so could make some functionalities not work properly.
April 17, 2015 at 4:25 am in reply to: WordPress Multi-Site Installation – Can't hide stylesheet href links #2409If you just want to remove comments from css the minify plugin will be helpful. But minification is a complex task. You’ll need to do some manual settings for this to work along with HMWP plugin. HMWP is compatible with wp-minify and Better WP Minify.
