I was polite. Don’t try to make me a bad person as if I have been like that ever since. The answers I got from your support were not relevant at all. Unlike support from other companies, your support is just terrible.

I am telling you to add me on Skype. Why are you not adding me in Skype?
I can show you my screen and problems. Also, don’t try to change the topic. Why don’t you just face the problem and solve it?
If you solve my problem that caused by your plugin, I will rate 5 stars in Evanto and just be gone forever. I will have no reason to write here anything.

Don’t your plugin add a line of code in wp-config.php??

I don’t see any benefit to continue this discussion.
What benefit you want from me? I am your customer I am asking for a support. I paid for the plugin as well as the support. You keep that attitude in your country. But never deal with foreigners with that attitude. It is going to piss off a lot of customers. I’ve read some comments about your attitude in Evanto. When a customer is mad, instead of pissing them off, try to listen to your customers sincerely!

privategirlssg, It is good to hear that you solved the problem. What a nice tech support you’ve got.
HMWP guys did not delete my reply but they seemed to mark it as a private message. I think this is what they do whenever someone complains about something.
They are good at hiding problems and blaming something else to avoid problems. I believe it is a typical third world country attitude.

I am not sure if I need to keep dealing with these guys or find a developer who can fix these issue.

privategirlssg, I have the same issue. I am another victim of HMWP.

Basically, these guys do not want to let anyone know what they have added or changed with the plugin.
The plugin adds a few lines of code in WP core files. Unless you completely remove those code, your website will not be running like before. Also find some garbage in your DB. You can fine bunch of its garbage from your DB.

I am also finding garbage that the plugin has created manually. It is tedious and miserable experience that I have never experienced with other plugins.

In case, you are not able to enter ‘wp-admin’
    Check your ‘wp-config.php’ file.
You may find ‘define(“ADMIN_COOKIE_PATH”, ” “);’ which blocks you entering wp-admin. As you remove that you will be able to sign in.

Hassan, Take a look at this first. Read all carefully.

You don’t seem to understand what is going on. It also looks like you and Suman Maharjan did not have a good communication for this issue.

You keep saying the same thing over and over which is
“Hide My WP DOES NOT edit any file or folder.”

However the plugin does change WP paths but not directories. OKAY???
Can’t you even differentiate between ‘paths’ and ‘physical directories’?

It also does add a few lines of code in core files. OK?

The problem is that it already changed paths but it does not return them to original WP settings after I click on “Reset settings to WP”.

Now, you understand the issue here?
I did not created page ‘/file’ with CornerStone. OKAY??? I disabled all plugins but the paths that HMWP changed never return it back to the original WP settings OKAY?
This is the reason why I am forced to use HMWP. This is the only way I can access files from changed paths.

So let me know what garbage that HMWP created I need to remove more other than these.

    – hide_my_wp
    – hide_my_wp_undo
    – hmwp_ids_installed
    – hmw_all_plugins
    – external_updates-hide_my_wp
    – hmwp_spam_counter
    – hmwp_temp_admin_path

Add me on Skype. I need to talk to you. I don’t think you even take enough time to understand the issue well.
I will show you the issue while sharing my screen.

    I removed all

    – hide_my_wp
    – hide_my_wp_undo
    – hmwp_ids_installed
    – hmw_all_plugins
    – external_updates-hide_my_wp
    – hmwp_spam_counter
    – hmwp_temp_admin_path

However it still loads images from ‘/file’ and it still looks like it is hard coded.
Let me know what I can remove more

Suman Maharjan, why don’t you just assign it to sr. support?
Are you even reading my messages??

First, I cannot remember every single problems!!!! There are too many!!
Second, I said “The bottom line is that, once I deactivate HMWP plugin, the website does not work normal!!!!! How many times do I have to tell the same thing over and over again??”
Don’t you think this is the root of all problems???

As soon as the main problem is solved the rest will be solved automatically. You said “I changed “new path” to “/assets”, but still in the site’s page source I see “/file”
So, it seems like it’s hard-coded somewhere. Please check!”.

As I said NO BODY hard coded it. The plugin did it.
    This is the PROBLEM!

Suman Maharjan, The screenshot is from PC NOT Mobile device. But I cropped it.

And which page can I check this? We only check the homepage (until you mention the issue is in other pages), as it’s not possible to check each and every page.
I did not tell you to check all pages. Did I tell you to check pages? Are you even reading my messages?

I changed “new path” to “/assets”, but still in the site’s page source I see “/file”
So, it seems like it’s hard-coded somewhere. Please check!

Who did that?? Your plugin did it. Don’t you understand it? Do not try to blame something else!. I am talking about this plugin!

Also I see that WP super cache is enabled, so you’ve to clear the cache after changing the settings in HMWP.
I installed it just today. If it is the problem I can disable it.

The bottom line is that, once you deactivate HMWP plugin, the website should work as normal. Please list the things, after deactivating HMWP (and clearing cache), that are not working (one issue I have already clarified above regarding the image paths).

The bottom line is that, once I deactivate HMWP plugin, the website does not work normal!!!!!
How many times do I have to tell the same thing over and over again??

I have problems with “Permalinks & URLs”. After clicking on “Reset settings to WP” or disabling does not revert to the original settings.

First, after disabling the plugin, My website cannot load images. Because instead of getting images from the default address, the website is still trying to get images from ‘/file’.
And the other settings that the plugin made still exit. Pretty much all.
How can I revert these to the original settings?

My website cannot load any images now. Since the directory is ‘my-site.com/file/’ instead of ‘my-site.com/wp-content/uploads/’.

It seems that more I dig I find more problems… Please I want to return everything back to the original WP settings.
