    Hi, please add the following replacement in “replace urls” under Replace Tools tab:

    wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/js/scripts.js ==> hwpscripts.js

    Hi, did you also rename wp-admin path name in HMWP settings? If you’ve applied one of the pre-made settings then the default login url is:
    http://www.YourDomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234

    I think the steps I mentioned above is pretty clear? You need to have access to your site’s database. If it’s confusing then please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details and FTP details as private reply so that we can set up the plugin for you. Thanks!

    Hi, you can simply login to backend and remove the IP from the list? If you are not able to login to backend then you’ll need to hard reset HMWP settings. Please do these:

    In “wp_options” table in your database, delete the rows with following “option_name”. Please backup your database first.
    – hide_my_wp
    – hide_my_wp_undo
    – hmwp_ids_installed
    – hmw_all_plugins
    – external_updates-hide_my_wp
    – hmwp_spam_counter
    – hmwp_temp_admin_path

    You should be able to login now and the re-configure HMWP plugin.

    Hi,

    1) the site becomes slow usually when the renamed URLs hit 404 error page. Please check this using chrome’s inspection tool.

    2) please try with these settings:
    – empty out ‘API Base’ and ‘API Query’ fields in Permalinks & URLs tab
    – uncheck “Directory List” option in General Settings tab
    – disable IDS option in IDS Firewall tab.

    You shall now be able to login to backend and re-configure the plugin.

    No, it’ll not create SEO problem in such case, because the site crawlers will crawl only the new changed paths.

    Hi, please deactivate and completely remove HMWP plugin from your previous site and then install it in new site.
