Hi, please set “rename plugins” option to ‘all plugins’ in HMWP permalinks & urls tab.

Also, please check the site’s page source in logged out state.

The htaccess looks fine. Can you please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply so that we can look into the issue further? Thanks!

Yes, the aim of the plugin is to hide the default WP paths so that looking at the site’s source visitors and bots cannot detect wordpress. Bots will be scraping the URLs there in the source and hence won’t find that it’s wordpress file structure. Also, HMWP hides theme name and plugins, default login paths, and has intrusion detection system too which will add to the overall security of the site.

Hi, You could see actual paths for those font files because they have been included in theme’s stylesheet. Please copy the css code that includes those font files and add it it child theme’s stylesheet (or else you could also add it in HMWP’s “Internal CSS” section under Source Code tab).

I checked the site’s page source and couldn’t see urls with version? – https://www.screencast.com/t/3YrnGp3qc

Hi, the conflict between HMWP and WP Rocket couldn’t be resolved yet in your site. So, please disable “CSS minify” option in WP Rocket as of now. Thanks!

Hi, please apply “medium privacy more compatibility” settings scheme, click on “nginx configuraton” button and follow the steps. Make sure that you add HMWP rules within server{} block in Nginx config file, and restart Nginx.

If it’s still the issue, then please post here the Nginx content (after you have added HMWP rules in it).

Also, I could not login with above credentials!

Hi, thanks for the video. I have notified it to our Dev Team, and hope to get it fixed in the upcoming versions. As of now, please disable “Replace _wpnonce in URLs” option in your site. Thanks for your understanding!

Hi, first of all we recommend you to update HMWP plugin to it’s latest version 5.6.1

It’s most probably htaccess issue. Make sure that htaccess file is writable. Please post here your site’s htaccess content.

Regarding CSRF protection, HMWP has intrusion detection system that blocks malicious request coming to your site (IDS Firewall tab).
And regarding XML_RPC, you may disable it from Permalinks & urls tab (API option).

Hi, can you please check now? You have to enable “combine js files” in WP Rocket settings.

I deactivated HMWP plugin, cleared the cache, but the icons are still not being displayed in mobile. So the issue seems to be not related to HMWP. Please check!

Hi, HMWP doesn’t physically rename any files and folders. It makes use of rewrite rules to replace the WP paths. So, all the defaults paths will still be valid if you access them directly.

Hi, I checked your site’s page source (https://www.screencast.com/t/JJWnpO69) and could see that default WP paths are being replaced, and also the site is working fine. So there’s no issue with htaccess rules and HMWP seems to be working fine.

If there’s any specific issue then please let us know. Thanks!
