Hi, I’ve applied Medium Privacy settings from HMWP start tab and set “rename plugins” to all plugins in permalinks & urls tab. Now wordpress and theme are not detected with detectors like wpthemedetector.com, whatwpthemeisthat.com, etc

I checked your site’s page source and everything looks okay. Please follow these steps:

– goto HMWP Start Tab, select “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and save the settings
– goto Permalink & URLs tab and set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

If you’re still having the issue, then please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details as Private Reply so that we can fix it for you.

Without the login details it’ll be very difficult to trace the issue. We are not having such issue in our test sites. Can you please send us your site’s page source with font awesome url that’s not working.

Hi, HMWP does not overwrite anything apart from adding few rules to htaccess file. Did you simply delete HMWP plugin or you first deactivated and then deleted? You should follow the later one.

Hi, if you are using Minify option of W3 total cache along with HMWP then you’ll need to follow the steps as mentioned here –

Hi, what replacement did you add in HMWP for the above mentioned font awesome URL?

You can follow these steps:
– apply “medium privacy” settings in HMWP start tab
– add the following replacement in “replace urls” field

wp-content/themes/vantage/fontawesome/css/font-awesome.css ==> myfont.css

Hi, I activated HMWP plugin and applied “medium privacy” settings in HMWP start tab, and the site speed seems to be similar as when HMWP is deactive (8 to 9 seconds – http://tools.pingdom.com/). Can you please check?
