Hi, most probably it’s due to some conflict in htaccess file. Can you please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details and FTP details so that we can look into this.

– goto HMWP Start Tab, select “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and save the settings
– goto Permalink & URLs tab and set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.
If wordpress and/or theme is still being detected then do let us know.
Hi, HMWP doesn’t control email sending route. It just allows to change email sender’s name and address. You can leave those field blank.
Hi, I activated HMWP plugin and set “medium privacy” settings from HMWP start tab, and everything seems to be working fine.

– goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> select ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’
– goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> click ‘Multi-site Configuration’
– now use a FTP program or your host file manager and add those lines to your htaccess file (after RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ [-])Hi, HMWP doesn’t change any code and WP paths physically. Can you please provide us with your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply) so that we can have a look at the issue.
Hi, clicking on “reset settings to WP” button in HMWP start tab and then deactivating HMWP from Plugins section should work. If it’s still not working then go to your database and in “wp_options” table, delete the rows with following “option_name”:
– hide_my_wp
– hide_my_wp_undo
– hmwp_ids_installed
– hmw_all_plugins
– external_updates-hide_my_wp -
