Nope, no manual change required in htaccess and wp-config. HMWP automatically adds required code to htaccess.

Hi, we’ve fixed the issue. Your new login url is http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?adrianlogiquery=2E4dRTT66pPfe4qq2
(We’ve simply removed non-alphanumeric characters there)

We’ve added a line in “Replace in HTML” option in HMWP ‘General settings’ tab, so that wordpress is not detected.

Hi, for now we have renamed hide_my_wp plugin in plugins folder, so that you can access wp-admin. To fix the issue, I’ll need wp-admin login details.

Hi, everything seems to be working fine now.

Your site is not detected as WP site now @ whatwpthemeisthat.com and wpthemedetector.com

I’ve disabled rename wp-admin option in HMWP settings, this seems to be creating issue in your site. Other things I added are few lines in “replace in html” and “replace URLs” option in General settings tab.

Please check the site and let me know if any issue there.

Hi, I enabled HMWP for testing, and wp-admin no more accessible. Can you please provide us with FTP details so that we can look further into it (it seems HMWP compatiblity issue with the theme you are using).

    1) Yes you have to remove words rewrite and last. Also remove the semicolon (;) at the end.
Use ‘break’ type instead of ‘last’ – it’s an option in WPE Panel. If it’s working just ignore this. Looks good in attached screenshot.

    2) For making it work with CDN, please check this FAQ – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/17469

So in you case, you have to add following lines in Replace in HTML:
    yourdomain.com/skin/=cdn.domain.com/skin/
    yourdomain.com/file/=cdn.domain.com/file/
    yourdomain.com/other/=cdn.domain.com/other/
    yourdomain.com/ext/=cdn.domain.com/ext/

    3) The steps I performed:
    – activated HMWP
    – applied ‘medium privacy more compatibility’ scheme in Start tab and saved settings
    – added nginx config to WPEngine “Redirection Rules”

    4) No, it will not affect.

Hi, can you please goto Redirection menu in your WPEngine Panel and add the rules mentioned in the attached file below (rules.txt).

There are total 8 rules, each with source (1st line) and destination (2nd line). And use ‘break’ type instead of ‘last’.

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. The error is most probably due to error in htaccess file. You can either share your site’s FTP details with us so that we can fix htaccess or else edit your htaccess file via FTP, and add default htaccess content there. You can find default htaccess details here – http://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess

Also, backup your current htaccess file before editing.

Hi, both the issues (mentioned in videos above) seem to exists even when HMWP plugin is disabled. Please check! Before deactivating, export current settings in start tab first, so that you don’t loose the settings.

Hi, I visited, re-visited the pages and every time both “article social share” and “form submit with attachment” work just fine!

Hi, can you please upload latest version of HMWP plugin in plugins folder. Also, WPEngine panel’s credentials will also be required as we’ll have to add Nginx rules there. If you do not want to share WPE panel credentials then I’ll ask you to add a set of rules there manually.

Hi, there’s 500 internal server error. But I did get chance to look at your site before this error.
    – can you please fix your parent theme. In your site backend “Appearance” it’s not being displayed correctly
    – managed to hide the plugin using “replace in html” option
    – I’ve increased the notification value for instrusions, so that you are not notified for low impact intrusions. Also, HMWP will take care of the intrusions itself and you need not worry.
    – now there’s 500 error in your site. Not sure if my change caused it, becase I didn’t do any major change in HMWP settings. May be you’d need to check htaccess. Let me know when your site is back.

Hi, it could be wp path related issue. But we would need to look into your site to know what exactly the issue is. Please let us know your site backend details, as private message, so that we can have a look at it.
