Hi random, first of all update HMWP to latest version 4.01 (the version you are using is 2.2). Then goto HMWP settings page and apply “Medium privacy – More Compatibility” scheme. Make sure that your site’s htaccess file is writeable.
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi random, yes you can post your site details as private message here.
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, “key=1234” is same as “hide_my_wp=1234” in our site http://hide-my-wp.wpwave.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
As, I mentioned above you cannot remove “key=1234” with HMWP. You’ll have to use another plugin. And make sure registration is enabled in your site.If you are still having issues, then let us know your website backend details (as private message) so that we can have a look at it.
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, with HMWP you cannot hide it from registeration URL. You’ll need to use plugin like “theme my login” for this.
It’s strange that installing plugin in one domain is creating problem for other domains. are these domain somehow related to each other?
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi,
Your new registration URL will look something like this:
http://www.domain.com/wp-login.php?action=register&hide_my_wp=1234 (hide_my_wp=1234 can be changed from HMWP settings page)Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, I’ve fixed it! The issue was in the htaccess file.
Note that your new login URL is http://theparksg.com//wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (you can change this in HMWP settings page)Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, the path to PDF is wrong.
Instead of
“http://domain.com/file/accounting/mitroo/M0.pdf”
it should be
“http://domain.com/file/2014/accounting/mitroo/M0.pdf”- This reply was modified 9 years, 11 months ago by Suman M..
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, yes you can change those namings. Please go through this FAQ – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, I hope this has been solved at Envato end? Do let us know.
Suman M.Post count: 12478Yes, this will hide all WP traces. Note that your login URL then becomes your-wp-path.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (this is default and you can change this in settings page).
If you want some more customization, then you can look into settings page options, after applying this ‘medium privacy’ scheme.
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, simply applying “Medium privacy more compatibility” scheme in HMWP settings should hide all WP traces (plugins/themes names, etc). But htaccess file should be writeable for this. Please go through HMWP documentation provided within the plugin download folder.
If it’s still not solved, do let us know your site’s backend details (as private message).
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, we’ll look into this. Apart from this is HMWP working fine for you?
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, I couldn’t see HMWP plugin there. Please, upload the plugin and let me know.
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, please let us know your site’s backend details (as private message).
Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, make sure you don’t enable common features in both plugins (HMWP and Wordfence) at the same time. If you’re still having the issue, please let us know your website details (as private message)
