If you set the post to be private then it’s attachments are also private.

If you’ve deactivated and deleted HMWP plugin then the error should not be related to HMWP plugin. For the default htaccess content please check this – https://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess

Hi, please enter “Email sender name” and “Email sender address” in HMWP General settings tab. Also, disable Anti-spam option in General settings tab. Let us know.

I checked and there seems to be some conflict with HMWP in your site. The rewrite rules in your site’s .htaccess file are not being followed.
I’ll check it again and get back to you.

Hi, please do not use special characters in admin wp-path name or any other path names. Try using Alphanumeric names.
To access backend, remove the line you added from wp-config.php, rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder to something else in /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Once logged in rename it back to “hide_my_wp”, and then apply settings in HMWP. Let us know if any issue.
