Hi, I have applied “medium privacy more compatibility” setting scheme from HMWP start tab and it seems to be working fine. And I have disabled options related to login URLs as you are already using another plugin for it. Please check and let us know.
July 18, 2018 at 5:02 am in reply to: Conflict with Instant Images Plugin – Problem related to WP Rest API #22632Hi, please do these:
– in General settings tab disable/uncheck “Directory List” and “Hide PHP Files” options
– in Permalinks & URLs tab, empty out “Ajax URL” field. Also empty out “API Base” and “API Query” fields (“API” option should be set to Enabled)
– if still the issue then try disabling “IDS” option in IDS Firewall tab.
Let us know. Thanks!

If you’re still having issue logging in, then please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details and FTP details as private reply so that we can look into it and fix it for you. Thanks!
Hi, please try these:
1) rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder in /wp-content/plugins/ directory and try to login. If still the issue then try option 2 below.
2) In “wp_options” table in your database, delete the rows with following “option_name”. (Please backup your database first)
– hide_my_wp
– hide_my_wp_undo
– hmwp_ids_installed
– hmw_all_plugins
– external_updates-hide_my_wp
– hmwp_spam_counter
– hmwp_temp_admin_path– comment out or remove following line from wp-config.php if you have added it there previously
define(“ADMIN_COOKIE_PATH”, “/NEW_WPADMIN_PATH_NAME”);I emptied out Ajax URL field, and API Base & API Query fields, and it’s working fine now. Please check and let us know.
Please try adding the following replacements in “Replace in HTML” option under Replace Tools tab:
"file ==> "/file
'file ==> '/file
Hi, as we suggested before, it was due to security check triggered via other source. HMWP is correctly returning 404 error page for default WP login urls.
Hi, can you please let us know where exactly can we check this issue? The URLs and/or screenshots will be helpful. Thanks!
Hi, yes, it’s one licence one website.
Why do you need an wp-admin address? Because of the hacking defense, I will frequently change wp-admin address. maybe change 4 times on 1 month.
>> I didn’t get this exactly. You can change the login url and wp-admin path name from Permalinks & URLs tab whenever you want.1) Enabling these options won’t rename those CSS class names and script variables. The only way you can replace them is using “replace in html” option under Replace Tools tab. More info here – https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827
You can add replacement like below in “replace in html”:
wc-appointments-appointment-form ==> SomeNameBut it’s actually not recommended to replace CSS class names and script variables as it might break the site’s functionality. So after adding the replacement, you should check the website thoroughly and revert back if any issue.
Hi, can you also let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply, so that we can check the issue? Thanks!
Hi, good to know that it’s resolved. This deprecated alert will not affect the site’s functionality at all. However, we’ll take care of it in the upcoming versions.
