I activated HMWP plugin, applied following settings and it’s working fine:

– in HMWP start tab, set “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and saved the settings
– in HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and saved the settings

Login to backend as admin and in HMWP general settings tab set “trusted user role” for Editor (and for other roles if they too do login)

UPDATE (for sr. support):

With Medium Privacy settings, and “Replace Mode” set to ‘Partial (Quick)’ and “Anti-Spam” disabled, the download works but then website’s css breaks.

Hi, I applied these settings and it’s working fine. You’ll need to clear cache after applying the settings.

Note: the backend login URL will be http://www.YourDomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
You may change the secret key “hide_my_wp=1234” from general settings tab.

Hi, I didn’t get your question exactly.

You can take backup of database, theme and plugins, and do fresh install of wordpress. And then upload HMWP plugin and activate it.

Hi, please follow these steps:

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writable. After applying above settings the backend login URL will be http://www.YourDomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
