Hi, there’s no such limitation in the plugin. Also did you try this:
– click on “reset settings to wp” button in HMWP settings page
– remove all the HMWP rules from web.config fileLet us know.
You said that the issue is because of another Plugin. Which Plugin is that?
But again you say that after you activate HMWP Plugin, the site goes down. So I’m little confused here.
Please provide us with wp-admin login details so that we can look into this further.Hi, can you please let us know your website URL? Leave HMWP activated so that we can check.
Hi, the issue is resolved now. I’ve set “minify style” option to safe minify under permalinks & urls tab (it was set to quick minify previously).
Hi, are you using Minify option in W3 total cache? Have you followed the steps as mentioned here – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/17774
If it’s still the issue then please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue.
Hi Wolfact, your issue has been resolved. Please check the ticket http://support.wpwave.com/forums/topic/the-plugin-breaks-my-website
And let’s connect in that ticket only regarding the issue to avoid confusion. Thanks!Hi, the issue has been resolved. The issue was in htaccess file (common rule defined in 2 places). I’ve fixed that and applied these settings in HMWP:
– inHMWP Start Tab, selected “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and saved the settings
– in Permalink & URLs tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”Note: Your new login URL is http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (you can change the secret key “hide_my_wp=1234” from general settings tab)
Hi, can you please let us know your website URL so that we can check it?
Hi, can you please generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it here as private reply.
And are you able to save other settings in HMWP Plugin? Please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue further.

February 4, 2016 at 7:27 am in reply to: Google Extensions still able to identify my site is using wordpress #7709Hi, I’ve assigned this ticket to Sr. support so that he can look further into it.
Hi, I applied following settings and it seems to be working fine now.
– in HMWP Start Tab, selected “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and saved the settings
– in Permalink & URLs tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable. Your new login URL will be http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
