Can you please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply so that we can look into it.
November 27, 2015 at 5:37 pm in reply to: Browser plugin always knows thats a wordpress site … #6169Hi, can you please try setting “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” in HMWP permalinks & urls tab?
That’s strange. Are you having this issue even after updating to version 5? We are not having such issue at our end. Please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue.
Thanks for report César. We’ll look into this.
You’ll only get this notification if 404 page is visited i.e. if invalid link is visited. You can turn off this notification by disabling “Spy Notify” option in general settings tab.
Hi César, so in this case you are seeing real IPs in the log because of Cloudflare. We’ll need to see how to make it compatible with clouflare. We’ve noted this down and we might fix this in the upcoming versions of the plugin.
And regarding the update badge issue, I deactivated HMWP and re-activated it and it’s gone. However, we’ll look into it, why it’s happening.
I meant your webhosting server’s error log and you can find it in hosting control panel. Also can you please try increasing memory to 128 so as to confirm that it’s not memory issue.
Hi, do you mean “AMHidO_pw=my_pw” at the end or HMWP rewrite rules? This isn’t a bug and is used by HMWP internally.
Hi, I didn’t get what exactly is the issue with the update.
The IP that you see in Dashboard >> Intrusions is the visitor’s IP.This reply has been marked as private.Hi imstrategy, please delete hide_my_wp completely, then download fixed version from here http://support.wpwave.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/hide_my_wp_501_install1.zip
Note: before deleting we recommend you to backup current settings by clicking on “export current settings” button in HMWP start tab.
Hi, make sure that HMWP secure code is correct and login url should be like http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
If you are still having issue, then rename hide_my_wp folder in /wp-content/plugins/ directory using HMWP and then login with http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/. Now rename back hide_my_wp folder and check the HMWP settings.
Sorry, I wasn’t aware of that. I’ll look into the issue again.
Hi, sorry for the inconvenience caused. We’ll look into this asap. Meanwhile, please rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder to something like “”hide_my_wp_bkp” in /wp-content/plugins/ directory using FTP. If still the issue then also rename your site’s .htaccess file (in your site’s root directory) to something like .htaccess-bkp
