Any issue with htaccess yet? As of now I can’t tell what could be the issue as we haven’t come across such issue previously.

Yes, I checked the htaccess backups. It’s already 30mins and I don’t see any issue in htaccess yet. Let’s wait and check then.

I gave write permission to htaccess file, hit save settings buttton in HMWP, cleared cache, and I don’t see any issue?

Hi, as you are using WP Engine, you’ll need to follow these steps:
– form HMWP start tab apply “medium privacy” settings scheme.

1) it might be because HMWP rules are not deleted from htaccess file.

To check the site speed related issue, please provide us with wp-admin login details.

Hi, you need not worry as HMWP IDS will take care of this and will block any malicious requests if Impact level is more than 20 (default value specified in HMWP IDS).
You can stop receiving emails regarding this by setting “Notification Threshold” option to 0 in IDS Firewall tab.

I applied “medium privacy” settings from HMWP start tab. I then tried adding a job “test1″(job_id=898) and tried updating it too, and I did not get any error, everything seems to be working fine.

For search, I’ve disabled “Search base redirect” option under permalinks & urls tab.

Can you please upload HMWP plugin in your site? Also give write permission (755) to htaccess file in your site’s root directory.

If it’s not in the exception fields list then it’s not excluded from being detected as intrusion. Is it that some of the valid requests are being blocked in your site due to HMWP?
