Hi, yes you can use trust network feature without enabling IDS. User experience wise the performance overhead is almost negligible.

Hi, it’s most probably the .htaccess issue. Bitnami/AWS by default do not enable htaccess. You will have to go into the apache configuration file and change AllowOverride None to AllowOverride All to use the .htaccess file. This shall fix the issue. Please let us know!
