To rename the word/text within the plugin manually, you’ll need to have some wordpress development skill. But one drawback to that is, the changes will be overwritten while updating the plugin.

There are some code/text like below in page source that needs to be replaced using “replace in html” option in HMWP –
    Zopim Live Chat WordPress Plugin
Powered by Visual Composer – drag and drop page builder for WordPress

There is also URL – https://custom.captac.co/wp-admin/images/wpspin_light.gif
Please avoid using images from wp-admin. replace those URLs with something like https://custom.captac.co/wp-content/images/wpspin_light.gif

HI, there is Replace in HTML option in HMWP, but still you cannot replace the text “fancy-product” with something else as this will break the website’s CSS.

The only way to do this is by manually replacing all occurrences of text “fancy-product” within Fancy Product Customizer WordPress plugin directory.

http://www.douxtouch.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 is working and I can login from that URL.

And, I have fixed the issue with htaccess file. Now the images are being displayed in the site and your site is not being detected as WP site with tools like whatwpthemeisthat.com and wpthemedetector.com

Hi, it seems like you have already deactivated the plugin. Please follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’
    scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’

Note: Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

If, it’s still the issue then please let us know your website backend details (as private message) so that we can have a look at the issue.

Is it Apache server or Nginx server? If it’s apache server then make sure htaccess file is writeable (or provide us with FTP details).

If its nginx server then follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility’
    scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’

    – In Start tab you should see Nginx Configuration button. If you don’t see this button, add &nginx_config=1 to HMWP settings page URL to see Nginx rewrite rules. For example:
    http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=hide_my_wp&nginx_config=1

    – Now add those lines (rewrite rules) to your Nginx configuration file. It’s usually located in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf or /etc/nginx/conf/nginx.conf or /etc/nginx/sites-available/domainname.com

    – restart nginx server

For more details, refer to the documentation available within plugin folder.

Hi, as your site is hosted on WPEngine, you’ll need to follow few steps to make it work. Please follow the steps as mentioned in this FAQ – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/17669

Hi, hackers try to do random access attempt to random websites on the web. I don’t think you need to be much worried about it as HMWP will block any such malicious requests.

Hi, HMWP settings seems to be applied correctly. Your secure login URL now is http://www.douxtouch.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (“hide_my_wp=1234” is default secret keyword which you can change form HMWP settings page.)

Hi, I’ve applied “medium privacy more compatibility” issue and set “rename plugins” option to all plugins. Now the theme and plugins are not being detected by tools like whatwpthemeisthat.com, wpthemedetector.com.
