Hi, HMWP IDS detects malicious requests coming to your site and notify you about it. But all these requests might not be harmful and you need not worry as HMWP IDS will take care of this and will block the malicious requests if Impact level is more than 20 (default value specified in HMWP IDS). You can stop receiving emails regarding this by setting “Notification Threshold” option to 0 in IDS Firewall tab.
Note: If in case, valid request is also listed as intrusion then hover over that request name and click on Exclude link to add it to exception list.
This reply has been marked as private. You have added HMWP rules in wrong place (within location{} block) in nginx config file. Please remove HMWP rules from there and add it just before the closing braces “}” of server block. After this, restart the nginx server and check the site. Let us know!
If you are using Nginx server then you’ll need to manually add HMWP rules in nginx config file (within server{} block), and restart Nginx.
Can you please post here nginx config content after you have added HMWP rules there?

– disable “Directory List” option in General settings tab
– disable “Hide PHP Files” option in General settings tab
– empty out “Ajax URL” field in Permalinks & URLs tab
– if above doesn’t fix the issue then try disabling IDS option in IDS Firewall tabLet us know.
I’ve configured HMWP plugin in your site. But renaming wp-admin is causing some conflict in your site, so I’ve disabled renaming it.
Please check your site and let us know if everything is working fine or not. This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. -
