Hi, try this please:
– rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder name under /wp-content/plugins/ directory
– set htaccess content to WP default (https://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess) or use the backup htaccess
– change permission of htaccess file to read only
– login to wp-admin
– rename back “hide_my_wp” plugin to it’s original name
– activate HMWP plugin
– click on “reset settings to WP” button in HMWP start tab
– change htaccess file’s permission to 644 or 755
– now apply “medium privacy” settings from HMWP start tab.But as you can see, even if all the plugins are disabled, it still detects woocommerce, yoast seo, etc. I’ve assigned this ticket to our sr. support so that he can look further into the issue.
HMWP does not modify or disable default wordpress emails. So, you need another plugin for modifying these emails. Please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue further.
HMWP does hide wordpress (you can check our demo site http://hide-my-wp.wpwave.com/).
In your case, we think that WP is detected because of some installed plugin. That’s why we wanted to disable the plugins and check which plugin is it, and find fix for it. But as wappalyzer seems to cache the result we aren’t being successful, and not sure how long does it cache the results.Hi, can you please try disabling IDS option from HMWP IDS Firewall tab? Do let us know.

Is wp-admin/options.php still leading to 404 page? If so then please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue.
Regarding hiding the traces of plugin, in your example above, it seems like plugin is directly outputting CSS and javascript codes in the page source itself. This actually is not a good practice. Replacing css class name/id and script variables is little complex and a manual process. You can find the detail info on making the replacements here –

Is it after you added “/” and where exactly did you add “/” ?Also, please generate debug report (from HMWP start tab) and post it here as private reply.
Please let us know your website url and the page url where we can check the author image, so that we can check.
To rename the plugins, goto HMWP Permalink & URLs tab and set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”.
Which link is leading to 404 page? Please let us know the real URl. Also, let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue.Hi, so now is it all working for you?
Hi, can you please generate debug report (from HMWP start tab) and post it here as private reply? Also post the content of web.config file (after adding HMWP rules).
