Hi, the issue doesn’t seem to be related to HMWP. The error message you mentioned above suggests that the error is due to missing database table “Pixel_termmeta”. Please find which plugin in your site is related to this table and try deactivating/renaming that plugin.

HMWP plugin adds the rewrite rules to htaccess file (available in your site’s root directory), so it should be writable. If it’s WP single site and Apache server then your site’s htaccess should be writable by default.

    Please follow these steps:

    – in HMWP start tab, set ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme and save the settings
    – in HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and save the settings

Hi, sorry for the confusion. WPEngine uses Nginx server and HMWP plugin currently does not support multisite on nginx.

Hi, “Pixel_termmeta” is not related to HMWP plugin and is also not a default WP table. Please check if it’s related to some other plugin.

What if you rename hide_my_wp plugin folder in /wp-content/plugins/ directory? Is backend acessible?

Also, generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it here as Private reply.

Hi, I tried activating HMWP plugin but getting a database connection error (site becomes accessible for few minutes and again the error comes back). Couldn’t check anything further because of the error. Can you please check?

I renamed “hide_my_wp” plugin folder name to “__hide_my_wp” but still can’t login.
Is it okay if I reset all the HMWP settings that you have applied?

    3) Codecanyon randomly checks for the valid license key for the products it sells, and if not found it alerts you to enter valid license key, and your account might get suspended. So to use it legally you must enter the purchase code.

    5) It shall be identical as only the process is little different

    9) Yes

    10) Yes, we do have ToDo list and keep working on it constantly to improve the plugin. But sorry, we cannot reveal our roadmap 🙂

Hi, goto HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and save the settings

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

It’s not recommended to hide “wp-” in the source code if it’s a part of css class name or script variable as it might break the site. More info regarding the replacement in source code here – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827
