So, is it that the htaccess permission issue exists only when HMWP is active? If so, please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details and FTP details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue further.

Hi, please find below the answers:

    1) HMWP is compatible with ithemes security plugin. If there is similar feature in two or more plugins then you should enable that feature in only one of the plugins.

    2) Please try adding following replacement in “replace urls” option under replace tools tab.
    wp-content/themes/omnitheme/style.css ==> webstyle

    3) You simply need to enter the purchase code and hit save settings button.

    4) It filter outs the possible spams coming into your site (like via comments section). Yes, you can use it along with Akismet.

    5) Minification is a complex task. Even best minifcation libraries may break some types of codes. In safe mode we try to consider all possible problem and avoid them as much as possible. Of course this means more process and slower operation while in quick mode speed is more important for us so we just try to keep it simple and quick.
What should you do? Try quick mode and check out your site (especially pages created by plugins) if everything works well ignore safe mode! Another idea is using safe mode along side a caching plugin.

    6) Almost similar to above explanation

    7) No, it does not.

    8) Please check this FAQ for more info on this – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827

I’ve set “rename plugins” option to all plugins in HMWP permalinks & urls tab. I’ve also added some replacements in “replace urls” option under replace tools tab. Similarly, you can add replacements for other urls.

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience, but HMWP will not corrupt database in any ways. None of our customers had such issue till date. If you could create a test wordpress site, we can show that it doesn’t corrupt database and that it works fine.

Hi, multisite on nginx (wpengine) is not officially supported yet. Please check this FAQ – http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/14735

I clicked on ‘reset settings to WP’ button in HMWP start tab to see how ‘post settings’ sections originally looks like, but now site seems to be broken.

To restore, you’ll need to comment our the HMWP line that you have added in wp-config.php and respective rule from htacess file. Then goto HMWP settings and click on “restore previous settings” button in start tab, and uncomment the lines in wp-config.php and htaccess files.

Let us know when done and also provide with the screenshot of original ‘post settings’ section.

    Hi,
As it’s WP multisite, please follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> select ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’
    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> click ‘Multi-site Configuration’
    – now use a FTP program or your host file manager and add those lines to your htaccess file (after RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ [-])

Please let us know if it’s still the issue.

H, did you just activate HMWP or also applied the pre-made settings from start tab? If you applied the settings then the default login url will be http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
You can change the secret key ‘hide_my_wp=1234’ from HMWP general settings tab.

Hi, what if you manually set it to 644? Does it automatically set back to 444 again? And what if you disable HMWP plugin? Also try disabling other active plugins one at a time. Let us know.

The url is actually http://www.financialhelpr.com/logas and not http://financialhelp.com/logas 🙂

So I assume your issue has been resolved.

    Hi, please follow these steps:

    – in HMWP start tab, set ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme and save the settings
    – in HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and save the settings

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

If wordpress is still being detected then please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue.
