Hi, do you want to block direct access to /wp-login.php and /wp-admin? Or your requirement is something else?
In General settings tab, there are 2 options – https://www.screencast.com/t/5Ur2JmAHYwcP
1) Hide Login Page
2) Hide Admin“Hide Login Page” is for blocking direct access to http://www.url.com/wp-login.php
With this option enabled, you will be able to access login page only using secret key, e.g. http://www.url.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
(you can define your own secret key)
And if you do not want to use secret key then you can define your login path in “Change Login URL” option in Permalinks & URLs tab. Using this option you can access the login page like http://www.url.com/mylogin“Hide Admin” is for blocking direct access to http://www.url.com/wp-admin

Thanks for your understanding.

WHile doing migration you can simply deactivate HMWP plugin, and after migration is done you can activate HMWP in new site.
However, they dont work when migrating my WordPress site to a VPS server at A2hosting provider because all internal links are still pointed to old domain,
>> Can you please explain this with URLs/screenshots?Hi, sorry for the delay on this. I’ve notified it to concerned department and you shall get the refund soon. Thanks!
This reply has been marked as private.Hi, I’ve applied some settings in HMWP and added some replacements under “replace tools” tab. But builtwith.com is still detecting wordpress. These detection sites caches the result, so let’s check it after some hours. Also, check if everything is working fine in your site or not?
Let us know!– Hide WP structure pages to bots (login, admin, theme, etc.). I am not a technical expert so if there are more, please hide them too )
– Keep the same URL for categories, products, pages, tags, posts, and every URL visible to google so there is NO impact on SEO.

We recommend you to deactivate HMWP plugin until the migration is complete and successful. And unfortunately, we cannot help much regarding the migration issue as it’s out of scope of our support. We recommend you to contact your hosting provider regarding it. Thanks for your understanding.

I checked it and it’s issue related to .htaccess files. The rewrite rules in .htaccess file are not being followed.
Can you please check with your hosting provider if htaccess is enabled in your site/server?This reply has been marked as private.August 8, 2019 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Can't enter purchase code / redirect + not allowed to access #27227Hi, the staging and live environment don’t seem to be identical? In staging, HMWP rules couldn’t be generated whereas in live HMWP rules are generated successfully. That’s why we wanted to configure HMWP plugin in live site. It won’t overwrite the configuration, you can deploy any updates after setting up HMWP plugin too. Hope that’s fine. Do let us know. Thanks!
