Hi, while renaming wp-admin path name you simply need to follow the onscreen instructions, add HMWP rules in Nginx config file (within server{} block), add a line of code (displayed onscreen) in wp-config.php file, and finally restart Nginx server.
It’s unfortunate that you simply applied for refund without our support team let solve/setup the plugin for you. Thanks anyways!

Hi, it could have been a simple issue related to .htacess file (if using Apache server) which we could resolve for you. Please let us know your site’s backend login details so that we can setup the plugin in your site. If it doesn’t work then you are eligible for full refund. Thanks!

Is “/backend” the new wp-admin path you renamed in HMWP plugin? Or is it new wp-login.php path name you renamed in HMWP?
Also, please generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it here as private reply. Thanks!

Hi, I see that you have installed Jetpack plugin. Is this plugin necessary for your site? If you use jetpack plugin then all features of HMWP will not work (some fetures need to be turned off). Please let us know!

Okay, we recommend you not to rename API Base and API Query if it’s conflicting with your CF7.
