    Hi,
It’s not recommended to rename/replace CSS class/id like #mpcth_… as this will break website styling. However, you can get rid of CSS from line numbers 95 to 137. You can include this CSS code in a css file and link it (you’ll need some knowledge of HTML for this).

I have removed these text from source code:

Hi, it’s most probably due to some invalid content in htaccess. Please provide us with your website details (as private reply) so that we can have a look at the issue.

So, have you enabled (checked) this option in your site? Or is it that you are getting error “Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration“, no matter if you enable or disable the option “Hide PHP Files”.

We need to confirm this as we are not having any such issue in our test sites.

Hi, I checked it and yes there seems to be an issue. I’ve assigned this ticket to Sr. support for further investigation.

http://my.website.com/wp-admin/customize.php should lead to 404 page if you have enabled “Hide Admin” option under General Settings tab in HMWP. Also, let us know your website URL.

I’m not sure why exactly it crashed, reasons can be many – you didn’t upload properly the new version; in your current version you have made changes in parent theme code so updating it overwrite those changes.

And to check if it’s conflicting with HMWP plugin, you can simply disable HMWP and check.

It’s not recommended to rename/replace CSS class names and javascript variable names as this might break site’s styling and/or functioning, as these names might have been used internally by plugins and theme.

Hi, you need to login before you can access backend section. And after login are you able to access http://my.website.com/wp-admin/customize.php?

Also, you might want to check this FAQ http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/14731

With HMWP you can hide http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin and http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php. You can make the login page accessible only after adding a secret code like http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234

Applying “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” settings will automatically apply this settings as well.

However, you can also try out renaming wp-admin path and follow the onscreen instructions.

Hi, for posting new topic, you have to first click on “Hide My WP” link under “Forums” in right sidebar. I’ve now moved it as a new topic.

Regarding your query, yes you can first setup in your test blog and then in your main site (make sure you delete HMWP plugin from test site then)

There’s a detailed documentation available within downloaded plugin folder.
You may follow these steps for setting it up quickly:
    – upload and activate HMWP plugin.
    – goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

For example, say I want users to log into http://www.fakesite.com/admin-panel – how do I achieve this?
    >> Do you also want to change wp-admin path using HMWP? I would like to let you know that this feature is still in beta state (marked *) and not officially supported yet.

Let us know if you have any further queries.

I’ve applied HMWP settings for http://www.malaysiafoodie.com

For http://www.ritzfashionista.com, username and/or password is incorrect!

http://www.douxtouch.com – I’ll check further and let you know.

Hi, those requests are registered as intrusion means that HMWP IDS has detected them as malicious request. But whether they are blocked or not depends upon their impact level. If Impact level is more than 20 (default value specified in HMWP PHP IDS) then such requests will be blocked.

To make sure that the requests are not detected as intrusion, you need to add the request name (Dashboard >> Intrusions) in Exception field.
