Hi, if you have forgotten the HMWP secret code for login (e.g. yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234), then follow these steps:
– rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder name under /wp-content/plugins/
– login to wp-admin
– rename back “hide_my_wp” plugin to it’s original name
– goto HMWP general settings tab and check the secret code-

I tried adding the rule to htaccess file but seems like there’s some issue and site is giving 500 error now. Can you please reset htaccess file to WP default or else provide us with FTP details so that we can fix it for you.

Hi, deactivating HMWP Plugin shall automatically remove HMWP rules from htaccess file if htaccess is writable. If in case the rules are not auto removed then we recommend you to remove the rules manually from htaccess file.
HMWP masks/renames default WP paths in the page source so that WordPress is not detected in the site. Please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply so that we can have a look at the issue and fix it for you.
I removed those replacements from replace tools tab and the site is still working fine. Can you please check?

Hi, I commented out the following line from htaccess file and the site is working fine now.
RewriteRule ^skin/([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+)/style\.css /nothing_404_404Hi, I do not see 503 error now but if you come across it you can view the server error log to find out what exactly is causing 503 error.
