Hi, that’s strange. Simply disabling “Hide Admin” option shall not cause such issue. May be that HMWP rules are not added in .htaccess file?
Please, activate the plugin, apply the settings (disable ‘Hide Admin’), add HMWP rules in htaccess file, clear cache if any.
Let us know. Thanks!Yes, we are aware of this ticket, and sorry for the delay. Please allow us couple of days more for this. Thanks!
Have you also renamed wp-admin path name using HMWP? Can you please post here .htaccess content (the one that is working)? Thanks!
Yes, thanks!

Please make sure that you have set “Minify style” option to ‘safe minify’ in HMWP Permalinks & URLs tab.If it’s still the issue then please let us know your site’s backend login details so that we can look into it further.

Note: If you make any changes to HMWP settings then you’ll also need to clear W3TC cache.

Hi, if it’s Nginx server then you’ll need to manually add HMWP rules in nginx config file and restart Nginx. Please check this video tutorial – https://support.wpwave.com/videos/setup-hmwp-on-nginx-webserver
If it’s still the issue then please post here the nginx config content (after you have added HMWP rules there). Thanks!

Hi, this usually happens if you have renamed wp-admin path in previous site. It’s recommended to disable renaming wp-admin path name before switching/migrating HMWP settings to another site/server. However, we’ll help you setup the plugin in new site. Please let us know these:
– backend login details of new site (FTP working fine)
– your HMWP purchase code
– HMWP settings exported from old site (if you have it)This reply has been marked as private.October 2, 2019 at 4:18 am in reply to: HMWP IDS Alerts non stop and can´t login to admin site #27791This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. -
