Hi, are you getting any error while activating HMWP plugin? Can you please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply so that we can look into the issue? Thanks!
1) please set trusted user roles for the users in HMWP General Settings tab
2) the above should do the job
3) it is not necessary to change the login location, but if the login link is visible in site’s page source then it’s better to change it.
It’s being difficult for you as you don’t have direct access to Nginx config file?
The online detectors keep on updating their detection algorithm and we also need to update ourselves depending on this. We have seen that these detectors detect site as wordpress even though there’s no trace of wordpress, and sometimes even a non-wordpress site is detected as wordpress just because of the presence of some text/path.
Having said that, we are working on this specifically so that wordpress detection becomes even difficult, for the next release which shall be out in some weeks.Hi, with above settings in place there actually shouldn’t be issue with emails. Also set trusted user roles for the users in HMWP General Settings tab. Can you please try disabling HMWP plugin and see if the emails work fine? Let us know.
October 1, 2019 at 7:22 pm in reply to: HMWP IDS Alerts non stop and canĀ“t login to admin site #27780Hi, if you do not want IDS (intrusions) alerts then you can set “notify threshold” to 0 in IDS Firewall Tab. You can also disable IDS all together from there.
Regarding the broken admin panel, we’ll need to look into it to know the exact issue. Can you please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply? Also let us know your HMWP purchase code. Thanks!

We’ll do our best to help your resolve the issue.
Renaming wp-admin required you to follow the onscreen instruction and follow each steps carefully, which also requires you to manually add a line of code in wp-config.php file. If you miss any step then you might be locked out of backend access, and then to gain access you’ll need to remove a line of code that you added in wp-config.php file and rename hide_my_wp plugin folder manually in plugins directory.
We can help you configure the plugin in your site. Please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details and FTP details (as private reply).
Also let us know the names you want for login path and wp-admin path. If the plugin doesn’t work then you are eligible for the full refund. Thanks!

Jetpack plugin references to 3rd party wordpress URLs and hence makes it easy for the detectors to detect that it’s wordpress site. Is jetpack must have plugin for your site? If not then can you please try deactivating it?

Because you’ll need to add HMWP rules manually in Nginx config file (it can’t be auto updated). And you usually get 404 errors in frontpage if HMWP rules are not being followed. So, it seems like HMWP rules are not added to nginx config file?
